Technical Sales Engineer - Mississauga, ON

For over three decades, Nuraseal has been the industry leader in supplying premium quality urethane custom seals.

Our customized manufacturing facility specializes in vulcanized and cold bonded custom o-rings and supplying Filton Rotary Products to our customers throughout North America.

We offer a broad range of products and profiles, including U-Cups, rod wipers, piston cups and V-pack sets.

With our in-house computer-aided design systems and tooling facilities, we offer faster prototyping and production turnaround times on all our sealing products, at an economical cost.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a tech-savvy sales engineer to assist with the selling of our unique products on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the successful incumbent responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of products, parts, functions and processes while assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the customers’ needs.

Main Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain Nuraseal’s products to customers

• Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors

• Possess an in-depth knowledge of all Nuraseal’s products, providing knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers

• Collaborating with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support

• Generate high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries

• Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers’ requirements and needs

• Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers

• Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop skills and ensure monthly sales targets and KPI targets are met

• Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics

• Identifying areas for improvement and communicating to upper management with practical solutions

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills- fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English is a must

• BA/BS degree or equivalent would be considered an asset

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Excellent presentation and creativity skills

• Ability to analyze and interpret sales statistics

• Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships

• Ability to read blueprints and use design software

• Excellent presentation and creativity skills
